Meet Your Trainer: Jess

I have been a Professional Dog Trainer for the past 7 years. I love building dogs up to be more joyful and confident in their environments. I get excited about empowering owners to communicate more effectively with their canine partners. My favorite part about my career is that moment when owners tell me they brought their dog camping or hiking and it was seamless and the most fun they've had with their dog because they did have to worry.

I started my career in dogs working in shelters and rescues. I learned a lot about reading dog body language and built upon my husbandry skills and knowledge. From there I went on to get my Bachelors in Animal Science specializing in Canines. This is where I gained hands on training experience, knowledge and started working with the community.

I have worked in multiple high volume training facilities since graduating in 2019. Ive coached thousands of people how to read, understand, and communicate effectively with their canine companions.

In my spare time, I take on adventures with my best girl, Luna. Our activities encompass a wide range of outdoor adventures, including backpacking to mountain peaks or secluded swimming holes, mountain biking, rock climbing, paddle boarding, and exploring new areas within our vehicle.
